Hello, everyone. Today I want to tell you about the album of one of my favorite bands "Nocturnal Depression". What can I tell you about it? In nutshell, this album is absolutely fucking awesome. If this information is enough for you, you should start listening to this amazing album (it might be that you already know this album and like it). If you see this name the first time, then I'll explain why I like it so much.
Musical part: these guys made an excellent job, the sound is dark, raw, handsome, and non-mainstream. All instrumental parts sound great and they supplement each other.
Vocal: Lord Lokhraed is a good black metal vocalist, he sounds harsh, depressive, and at the same time you can hear the lyrics, and this is a rare case in black metal (especially when English not a native language of the singer). One more detail, he sounds cool, not boring or like a big pig, like many "screamers".
Atmosphere: the only time when I heard an album with the better atmosphere is "Filosofem", and as I know, these guys very like Burzum. Very difficult to remember such hopelessness and oppression in any style of music, even between funeral doom metal bands. Some tracks are 16-minutes long, but you forget about time, during listening.
In conclusion, this album is a masterpiece, if you want to check what you'll hear on this album, you can watch an official video of one of the greatest track "Nostalgia" (but it is the short version of this song, the full song is 20-minutes long)
